[Chapter 1] ::Kitty Hawkins::

Kitty was used to being alone. Being given away to an awful orphanage at birth does that to a person. She was always the kid at the orphanage who was singing. The other girls there used to tell her she had a good voice. She deemed that the only good thing about her.

Wendy, the oldest girl there whose parents had died when she was 8, used to tell all of these stories about the outside world and all of the other girls would listen. One of Wendy's favorite things to talk about was Hollywood. to the dumpy orphanage, Wendy said. All the glitz and glamour, and no one even had to worry about going hungry. And Wendy said that people such as talented singers, actors, and models lived there. Kitty fantasized about Hollywood daily, dreaming of living there one day. She would be the greatest musician there ever was. Hollywood was a dream world compared
So, the day she turned 18, Kitty bought the lot next to the 2 richest people in the city: the Landgraabs and the Altos. She would end up practically living at either until she could afford basic living essentials. She used the remainder of her money to buy Melody, her guitar and joined the music career. Together, she and Melody would journey to the top of the charts someday.
